Mywebcalls is a PC to Phone service owned by UK Internet Service Provider, Fused Group ltd.
The service provides VOIP (phone calls over the internet) services to businesses and consumers via two web sites, mywebcalls.com & mywebcalls.co.uk . Customers buy credits and then use those credits to make cheap phone calls over the Internet. These calls are typically international and made from countries with regulated markets or by the growing international community within the UK calling overseas. All customer accounts are run on a prepay basis meaning there is no credit risk. There is also a channel community of resellers which resell the service under their own brand.
The very latest SIP technology is used in the web dialler. The service is hosted in London on resilient servers but could be moved or hosted on your own servers.
As Fused has developed Mywebcalls it has become less central to the core activities of the business, after a recent review of the activities the Fused board has decided to explore the disposal of the prepay business to concentrate on the core UK market.
