This highly profitable and busy Shop Fitting company was established by the vendor in 1989. Since that time the business has grown to the now sizeable operation to be one of the leading manufactures of cabinets and shop fixtures and fittings in the country. With a streamlined factory unit, and the latest ‘State of the Art’ machinery at disposal, the business takes orders from design, through estimation, manufacturing to supply and fit. The company has built an exceptional reputation, and is not only a member of the National Association of Shop-fitters, but also has the unique status of being the approved installer for an association in a very buoyant retail sector, whose membership includes thousands of independent shops nationwide.
This preferred status brings in a constant stream of enquiries and orders for complete re-fits and new build retail outlets from the industry. Along with many repeat clients nationally and the on-going high levels of recommendation and referral from the extensive list of satisfied clients over the past 20 years, the business is assured of a healthy future project book, and stable earnings with high profit levels.
The business has the capacity that others in the market cannot compete with. This provides a flexibility to the provision of skilled staff to finish all projects on-time and to the highest levels of workmanship. The in-house manufacturing also allows for strict quality control as well as extra profit margins in a competitive industry. Based out of Kent, the business is now one of the market leaders in the South East, and can accommodate work nationally and supply fabricated units to fitters across Europe.

The business conducts minimal advertising and marketing, and has been working at full capacity for the last few years from on-going business, recommendation and referral. There is a corporate website which is currently under re-construction. |
| |
This business is primed for future growth. The current product range and services can be offered to a wider geographic area for both supply and fit, and supply only to shop-fitting companies further a field or via a satellite operation.
The Factory machinery and skilled workforce has the ability to easily move into similar furniture such as kitchens and bathrooms, or to move along the lines of a standardised product range. This can be achieved with limited impact on direct overheads by increasing operating hours to a 24 hour shift pattern. There is also every opportunity to market the bespoke design, manufacture and fitting services to the private sector. |
| |
The vendor is agreeable to a period of handover and training for the successful transition of business operations to new ownership. |
| |
The vendor has a large property portfolio which he is looking to manage. He believes the business is now well placed to be taken forward under new ownership from a very profitable and stable founding. |
