This is truly a unique opportunity to acquire the ownership of a business which has never before become available on the open market. The company was established in 2001 and was incorporated in 2005 by the owner. It was founded on significant technological advances in the production of one of the worlds leading “high end” gastronomic commodities. It is the premier cultivation company in the world for this commodity and has a growing global reputation.
The company is based on advanced cultivation systems using technology that has been in development since 2001 and requires specific treatment in order to cultivate the commodity successfully. This is a very profitable pursuit, but to be successful the approach must be informed and tailored to the particular site. This company is at the forefront of such cultivation technologies and offer their partners advice, yearly assesments, expertise and allow access to their data sets. They have simply turned this type of cultivation into a scientific, informed and reliable pursuit with the benefits to their partners of greater yields and increased harvest reliability.
Up to date the company has, with the help of their partners, planted circa 70 hectares of trees for cultivation since 2005. Each hectare will return circa £3-13,000 yield in its first year rising to £70,000 yield per year depending on how well the trees are managed and the type of soil substance they are planted in. The commodity takes on average five years to mature and the first expected harvest is in Autumn 2011. Each year, with new partners investing in the scheme, an expected growth of circa 30 -50 hectares will be planted. It takes the company just one year to cultivate a plant in their own grounds and then they are ready for transporting and planting to give circa 50 years of yield.

Each year, for the first four years, the harvest from each hectare will increase until it reaches its maximum yield. Each plant can produce a harvest for up to fifty years. As the company enters into new partnerships each year and the plants mature to give their annual harvest, the turnover and profits of the company will rise accordingly with little or no increase in overheads. The owner understands that a wider network of sales agents and contacts need to be implemented worldwide bringing on board more partners. |

The vendor would be happy to help with a smooth transfer of the business in any way possible. |

The owner of the business is by occupation a scientist and his passion is to work in his chosen scientific field. More and more of his time is being spent on business matters and finance which is not his area of expertise or his chosen path. He has already begun working on a further advancement in cultivation and plantation of another high end commodity but is being sidetracked by his other commitments. There is the option to retain the founder as a partner or shareholder in the business looking after the scientific and technological areas within the company whilst the new owners or partners would run the commercial side of the business. |
