Business Summary

Cakes are baked on the premises and sold on a daily basis and we also take orders for cupcakes, celebration and wedding cakes! The shop sells cake making accessories such as icing, boards, tools and cake boxes. We also serve sandwiches and panini in the tea rooms. The shop also caters for children’s baking parties where the children mix, bake and decorate their own cupcakes and make simple sugar decorations. We have adult classes and in the school holidays run baking workshops. Toddlers are not left out! we do parent and toddler baking mornings once a month as well.
The shop is decorated and fitted to a very high standard. There are exterior lights fitted to the front and rear of the property and there is a private forecourt to the front, which can cater for at least 20 covers. There is also a double headed espresso machine and coffee grinder allowing us to serve superb coffee to accompany the cakes. There is a cooker with capacity to bake 84 cupcakes in three ovens(not included in price) The flooring is “amtico style” strip flooring, very hardwearing in an attractive dark oak colour.
The second room has mixed use at present. IT is used as the baking room for our children’s parties and holiday workshops. Also during school holidays it is styled as a “kinder cafe” where there are toys and colouring books to occupy the children while mum and dad can enjoy tea or coffee in peace! Here there is usually 4 tables suitable for baking and decorating.
Beyond this is a third area where there is storage, washing up facility and two toilets, one suitable for disabled to use. In addition to this there is a large decked area to the rear which can be used for various uses and can seat at least around 40 people. The area is furnished with a mixture of wooden outside furniture and cream wrought iron shabby chic style loveseats and tables and chairs. There is huge scope for further development of this area.
