• The College operates in a non regulated sector. It is however, accredited by NCFE to level IV for all the courses that are provided. In other words the College has the ability to produce, publish and teach the courses to the correct standards.
• There are two distinct sides to the business which are:
• Training School
o Provides a 12 month course to foot health practitioners through 12 modules, which form the theoretical part and two weeks in-house training at the college with a high level of practical experience being achieved.
o The practical training is conducted with approximately 12 to 14 trainees who all pay £1990 inclusive of vat.
o The Directors have informed us that 130 trainees will conduct the training programme in 2011 and that this side of the business is growing naturally.
• The Clinic
o Based in the town centre, and opens for two weeks per month.
o The business has a customer base of 4,000 people who visit on a regular basis.
o The trainees are trained practically on the feet and in return the customers receive a discounted rate of £10 for a one hour session.
