Tshirts offer very much a growth area as consumers increasingly seek good value and feelgood choices with current and relevant designs. Most importantly the profit margins available by producing these goods from home with tiny overheads is high, typically 300-400% mark up per sale.
I have designed and sold tshirts for several years prior to setting this up and so have quite a lot of experience and practical knowledge to pass on to help you, i.e. good shows/events to attend to generate cash sales, online marketing techniques (affiliates, Amazon, Google ads etc.). I will be pleased to guide the new owner if required in all these areas.
You will be able to create your own designs very easily using the software that is included and there are thousands of different vinyl colours and effects (mirrored, flock, matt, gloss etc.) available to purchase from suppliers so the creative options really are endless. You can also use transfer paper to produce photo based or complex designs. I can show you how to do all of this and even a beginner will be able to pick it up with a little time spent going through the training materials.
The website is fully ecommerce enabled and ready to go but has not yet traded and is brand new. Even so, the site has picked up several orders already just by being live on the Internet with absolutely zero promotional effort so far so that is a very encouraging start.

• Commercial grade heat press suitable for applying design media to t-shirts, tops and baby wear (also suitable for general clothing, jackets, aprons, bags etc if required).
• Professional cutting/plotting machine and software (including DVD based training materials) in order to created and produce vinyl based designs. Designs can also include photos.
• Assorted blank stock ready for printing, approx £400 retail value. A disk containing my current designs ready to import and print straight from your laptop
• 4 metres Hot Flex vinyl.
Training
I have an easy to follow PDF guide on the website management, which shows you how to add products and manipulate all aspects of your website. I also have DVD and manual based instructional materials to cover designing products for printing and operation of the cutting machine and heat press so that you can produce all your own products in your own time and at your own pace completely from scratch. My support is available ongoing until you are comfortable on your own.

Margins
The profit margins are excellent. You will be buying from my own long term UK based suppliers at a cost of around £1.50 for each item of blank clothing, plus vinyl per garment will cost up to 50p and you will sell each piece for an average sales price £16.00 - £18.00.
Running costs
The costs for running this business can be kept to an absolute minimum as you can purchase very small quantities of blank goods from existing UK suppliers and make goods to order therefore holding no stock. You do not need premises, just a spare room or dining room table, and you can do everything including website maintenance (adding products, promotions, marketing) all yourself. I can show you how to do all of these things as I have learnt how to do all of this over time.
You only have to make an item once you have received an order, paid for in full by the customer, so you can keep the operation as small and risk free as you like whilst you are getting established.

I have spoken to a courier company and the whole package can be delivered anywhere in the UK for £95. The handover can also be carried out remotely and several DVD and guide based training materials are included to show you how to use the equipment and manage the website which means you would not need to come here in person if the distance is a problem.
