It is licensed to accommodate up to 80 cats. Breighton Cats Lodge was the Overall winner of the 2005 FAB UK “Cattery of the Year” competition, we have since taken those exceptionally high standards and improved on them even further. Having since extended the cattery by 30% to 30 full size chalets in a variety of sizes all with individual runs, fully insulated and heated sleeping quarters. We have five indoor chalets suitable for senior/frail cats or cats of a particularly nervous disposition that require a higher level of care and attention. We can cater for all tastes and are able to offer medication of cats with health issues.
The cattery buildings also include reception office, dedicated cattery kitchen with washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is also a litter store and storeroom for beds and litter trays. There is also ample parking space for customers
The cattery’s license has recently been increased to 80 cats and is easily managed by the owners and staff.
Also has the potential for a small shopping area with an opportunity to sell cat food and litter.
Boarding Fees for the cattery at present paid by cash or cheque are as follows

In addition to having an existing loyal customer base of over 500 at present, we are normally fully booked throughout the summer from mid-March until the end of October and are getting new customers every week generally through referalls. At present the Boarding Cattery has an excellent turnover and net profit with a steady increase year on year.
